The Z7 Hybrid pairs a 451 cc parallel twin with a compact traction motor and a lithium-ion battery that charges while riding, so it needs no plug-in charging. The rider can run on electric power alone, engine alone, or both together, with sporty, eco and low-speed electric drive modes. Kawasaki presents it as a mid-size strong-hybrid naked bike with an automated six-speed gearbox, a TFT display and standard ABS.
